CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in his face and killed in Back of the Yards on Tuesday night, police said.
At 8:20 p.m., the man got into a fight inside an apartment in the 2000 block of West 52nd Place, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. The person he was arguing with took out a gun and shot the man, hitting his face.
The man has been identified as Ronald Jerome Clarke, of the 5300 block of South Hoyne Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Clarke was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:25 p.m., according to the medical examiner.
No one is in custody in the shooting.
