ENGLEWOOD — A 32-year-old man died after being shot multiple times in Englewood Friday evening, police said.

Around 9:40 p.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 6100 block of South Sangamon Street when someone pulled up alongside him in a black sedan and shot at him, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. Police originally said he was 31 years old.

The man was brought to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Sedevic said.

Roderick Snowden, 32, of the 1200 block of Wadsworth Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:48 p.m., according to county records.
