HYDE PARK — Congregation Rodfei Zedek is getting ready to end the Jewish holiday season with its annual hoedown.

The synagogue at 5200 S. Hyde Park Blvd. will celebrate Havdalah, the end of Shabbat and the Jewish holidays, with square dancing and a chuck wagon supper at 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 9.

The square, line and circle dancing and dinner are all free, but the synagogue asks people to call the office at 773-752-2770 by Jan. 4 so enough food can be prepared.
