Garfield Park Shooting Kills 28-Year-Old Man, Police Say

Chicago — A shooting in Garfield Park left a man dead on Saturday, police said.

At 7:20 p.m., a 28-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his torso in a parked car in the 600 block of South Tripp Avenue, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Sedevic said.

Jacquez Price, of the 7000 block of South East End, was pronounced dead at 7:47 p.m., according to county records.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
