LAKEVIEW — No one was injured in a fire that sparked in a Lakeview residence Monday evening.
At 4:07 p.m., the Chicago Fire Department was called to 456 W. Barry Ave. after a fire was reported on the second floor, the department said.
The building was unoccupied at the time, and no one was taken to the hospital, said Fire Cmdr. Walter Schroeder.
The flames were put out within an hour, and officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
