HYDE PARK — Rockefeller Chapel will keep the lights off on Thursday evening for a candlelit Christmas Eve service.

The church on the University of Chicago campus at 5850 S. Woodlawn Ave. will hold its holiday ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Kimberly Jones will join the Rockefeller Children’s Choir to sing “O Holy Night” and the children will re-enact the story of the nativity.
