CHICAGO — The suburban man who held a fake gun and robbed a woman outside a Lincoln Square school Friday has been charged with aggravated robbery, according to Chicago Police.

Johnny Wilson, 32, of Aurora, was arrested Friday night after he walked up to a woman outside of St. Matthias Elementary, 4910 N. Claremont Ave., and showed the woman what she believed to be a handgun and demanded money, police said.

The 35-year-old woman was a parent of a St. Matthias, DNAinfo Chicago reported Friday. She was robbed of $20, police said.

Officers responded to calls of the armed robbery and arrested Wilson and a 26-year-old man, who was released without charges, police said. Police said they found a "replica weapon" on Wilson.

Wilson was charged with one felony county of aggravated robbery with a firearm. He was held in lieu of $450,000 bail after appearing in bond court Sunday, according to The Sun-Times.
