ENGLEWOOD — Instead of commuting downtown, Englewood residents can listen to classical music right in their own community Thursday.

Small ensembles from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago will perform for free from 4:15-5:30 p.m. at Hamilton Park Cultural Center, 513 W. 72nd St. They will perform J.S. Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos (Nos. 1-6)" and selections from the "Art of Fugue." The ensembles will make other stops earlier in the day which include:

• The Christkindlmarket, 50 W. Washington St., 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Kenwood Academy High School, 5015 S. Blackstone Ave., 2-3 p.m.

• Blackstone Library, 4904 S. Lake Park Ave., 4-5 p.m.
