HYDE PARK — The Southside Hub of Production will open a store where everything’s free for Black Friday.

While most of the nation is looking for post-Thanksgiving deals, Hyde Parkers will have the chance to pick up items for free at the art gallery at 1448 E. 57th St.

The gallery will start accepting donations Wednesday for its free store, which will be open from noon-8 p.m. Friday and noon-6 p.m. Saturday.

The store is an idea from artists Salem Collo-Julin, Melinda Fries, Rob Kelly and Zena Sakowski and has been open about once a month in different neighborhoods around the city for the past four years.

Organizers said anyone is free to donate or take items.
