CHICAGO — In a new song from the soundtrack of Spike Lee's soon-to-be-released film "Chi-Raq," actor Nick Cannon asks listeners to "Pray 4 My City."

Cannon, who was born in San Diego, stars in the film that has been criticized before its Dec. 4 release for making light of Chicago's violence.

Here's the video for "Pray 4 My City," which lacks the humor of the original trailer.

The song is the second single released from the movie's soundtrack. Earlier this week, the video for "WGDB" by Chicago's Kevon Carter was unveiled.
