LAKEVIEW — Who thought airing your dirty laundry could be so satisfying?
As a Lakeview company tests out new same-day laundry service, it's offering up free dry cleaning to customers.
CD One Price Cleaners, 2955 N. Ashland Ave., will dry-clean up to 15 pounds of your laundry free for a limited time (no word on an end date yet). The promotion started earlier this week and comes as the dry cleaning company launches its clean-and-fold laundry service in Lakeview and two suburban locations.
Four other Chicago stores, along with 30 CD One Price Cleaners in the Midwest, will offer the same-day laundry service by March 2016. The dry cleaners will clean and fold household laundry for $1.49 per pound.
"We want to be your one stop for dry cleaning and laundry, from sportswear to khakis to towels to tablecloths," said spokesman John Morocco.
CD One Price Cleaners prides itself on offering a one-price policy and free same-day service for dry cleaning. It also emails customers when orders are completed and offers complimentary coffee.
Now if only we could outsource our dirty dishes, we'd be all set.
