LINCOLN SQUARE — Planning an outdoor event for early November is always a crapshoot, but the organizers of Lincoln Square's annual Fall Wine Stroll have lucked out with unusually warm temperatures predicted for Thursday.

The stroll will take place 6:30-9:30 p.m., with stops along Ravenswood, Damen, Montrose, Western, Lincoln and Lawrence avenues.

Dozens of participating businesses are hosting tastings and serving appetizers, with experts on hand to describe each vintage. Participants can expect to sample 40-45 wines throughout the stroll.

Tickets for two of the five routes are still available and can be purchased online. Cost is $40.
