CHICAGO — A 15-year-old girl was shot in Englewood early Saturday, police said.

The girl was standing with a group of people on a front porch at 3:13 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue when a man walked past and fired shots at the group, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The girl was hit in both of her legs and taken to Comer Children's Hospital, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
