THE LOOP — The Southeast Asian restaurant chain created by Chipotle will stir up noodles and such Downtown starting next month.
ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen will open its first Chicago restaurant Dec. 8 at 24 E. Jackson Blvd., the chain said Thursday.
Like at Chipotle, guests will be able to customize their meals by choosing their own rice or noodles, protein, vegetables, sauce, and other toppings. The dishes are all priced under $10.
The chain opened its first restaurant in Washington, D.C. in 2011, and now operates 11 stores between there and the Los Angeles area. The Loop restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
