HYDE PARK — Rockefeller Chapel will screen “Nosferatu” on Monday with live accompaniment by the massive E.M. Skinner organ.

Organist Dennis James will use the organ’s 6,980 pipes to accompany the horror classic from the silent movie era at 7:30 p.m. at the chapel, 5850 S. Woodlawn Ave.

The story is a classic of the vampire genre with a naive real estate agent trapped in a castle in Transylvania after discovering his client, the rich count, is a vampire.

Tickets are $10.

Thomas Weisflog will keep the spooky sounds emanating from the organ on Tuesday with a free recital of Halloween inspired music at 4:30 p.m. after tea and biscuits at 4 p.m.
