UPTOWN — Dispensary 33, which could the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in the city, will host an open house in November.

"This will be the only time that the general public will be allowed to enter the dispensary and we'd love for everyone to see what we've been working on," the dispensary said in a press release.

From noon-6 p.m. Nov. 14-15, those who are curious can ask experts about how about the medical marijuana program works, different marijuana strains and their applications, methods of consumption and "the results of every medical study ever published," according to a press release.

"Our staff will know it all (well, a lot of it) and would love to share," the press release said.

Employees will also be on hand to help those who interested to help apply for cards allowing them access to medical marijuana.

Dispensary 33, is in the former home of Pie Hole Pizza at 5001 N. Clark St.
