It's Fall in Edgewater, and that means this Sunday is a fundraising festival at Senn Park to help raise money for major upgrades to the area's public spaces.

EDGEWATER — The leaves, they are a-changin' — and the tree-lined streets of Edgewater are full of proof that fall has arrived.

This Sunday, the Senn Park Advisory Council and Chicago Parks Foundation are sponsoring a fall festival in Senn Park to help raise money for the council's ongoing efforts to bring big updates to the affiliated parks.

From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. residents can head over to Senn Park, 5887 N. Ridge Ave., for face painting, food trucks, a silent auction, games, raffles and more.

Kids are encouraged to come in full Halloween costume swagger.

For a $10 donation to the park, a professional photographer will also be on hand to take digital family photos.

Proceeds from the event will go toward beautifying the parks associated with nearby Senn: a playlot on Elmdale, the turf fields and courts along Ridge Avenue, the courtyard area with the Abraham Lincoln statue, community garden and more.
