WICKER PARK — Looking for stuff to do this Halloween?

Most city parks are offering neighborhood specific events, including 21 within a 2-mile radius of 60622 — Wicker Park's main ZIP code — according to the Park District's website.

Here are a few of the highlights.

Friday

5-10 p.m. Teens and Adults Only Haunted House. The Pulaski Park Advisory Council's scary setup is not for little ones, so this house is open to goblins over age 13 only. Tickets are $10; 1419 W. Blackhawk St. Phone: 312-742-7559.

Saturday

10 a.m.-2 p.m. Boo-Palooza in Wicker Park's Namesake Park. Now in its seventh year, the massive party produced by the park's advisory council in collaboration with more than 60 groups is expected to draw at least 3,000 people. A corn maze, apple bobbing, crafts, games and a parade are just a few highlights. The free event will include costume parades with prizes in four categories (kids, adults, families and dogs). 1425 N. Damen Ave., Phone: 312-742-7553.

2-4 p.m. Free Halloween Party in Commercial Park. Enjoy crafts, games, storytelling and a costume parade around the block. All ages welcome. 1845 W. Rice St. Phone: 312-742-7558.

5-10 p.m. Family-Friendly Haunted House. Targeted to toddlers, this version of Pulaski Park Advisory Council's haunted house is "not so scary," organizers promise. Ticket prices, $5, are friendlier, too. 1419 W. Blackhawk St. Phone: 312-742-7559. NOTE: There are several other times for both the family-friendly and adult haunted house; consult the park district's website to see the full list.

Oct. 30

3:30-6 p.m. Costume Party and Parade in Holstein Park. Youngsters under age 13 and their parents are invited to participate in a party and Halloween Parade. 2200 N. Oakley Blvd. Phone: 312-742-7554

6-8 p.m. Spooky Skate Party in Smith Park. Bring along roller skates and skate around the gym in costume at the "Haunted Rink." All ages welcome; "creepy music" will add to the ambience, organizers say. 2426 W. Grand Ave., Phone: 312-742-7534.

Oct. 31

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Halloween Festival in Pulaski Park. Pony and hay rides, Inflatables, performances and crafts are all on tap at this six-hour-long festival presented by the Pulaski Park Advisory Council.  Admission is $10, 1419 W. Blackhawk St. 312-742-7534.

3-5 p.m. Trick-or-Treat along The 606's Bloomingdale Trail. Suggested ground-level parks to trick-or treat at, from east to west, include Walsh Park, 1722 N. Ashland Ave.; Churchill Field Park, 1825 N. Damen Ave.; Park 567 at 1805 N. Milwaukee Ave.; California Avenue Park at California and Bloomingdale; Julia de Burgos Park, 1805 N. Albany Ave.; Spaulding and Kimball Park and the Ridgeway observatory, just south of the McCormick Tribune YMCA at 1834 N. Lawndale Ave. in Humboldt Park.

Other activities will include bike and pumpkin decorating at Julia de Burgos Park. There will be a costume contest at 5 p.m. at Churchill Park followed by a screening of "Beetlejuice" at 5:45 p.m. The Shakespeare Police District is sponsoring the "606" events with the Chicago Park District, The Trust for Public Land and Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail.
