LOGAN SQUARE — Have any "deep seeded" fears that you need to get rid of?

This weekend in exchange for giving up one of your fears, you will receive a plant to take home.

The plant for fears giveaway will be at the Comfort Station in Logan Square Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The social experiment is part of Cream Co.'s General Economy, Exquisite Exchange, an initiative to establish alternative, "post-profit" sites to exchange plants, goods and services.

Sunday's exchange, in the spirit of Halloween, will focus on fears.

Plant Your Fears Here will be an interactive installation where participants write down a fear and attach it to an allium bulb, which will be planted in the landscape surrounding the Comfort Station, 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Those bulbs will (fingers crossed) bloom in the spring, thus transforming fears into alliums.

Spider plantlets will be offered as a receipt of release, according to Cream Co.
