NEAR WEST SIDE — Police are warning residents to be alert after three garage burglaries occurred on the Near West Side in a week.
In the incidents, a burglar or burglars entered the garages of Near West Side residents by force and removed property located inside.
The incidents occurred:
• at about 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 in the 2200 block of West Washington Boulevard
• at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 in the 2200 block of West Washington Boulevard
• at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the 2200 block of West Monroe Street
