Englewood Farm Stand Open to Community Wednesday

WEST ENGLEWOOD — The community can purchase fresh vegetables on Wednesday from Growing Home Farm.

The vegetables will be harvested that morning. The farm stand, 5814 S. Wood St., will be open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. LINK is accepted.

Growing Home also schedules tours. The request must be made two weeks in advance. To participate in one, fill out the online application at www.Growinghomeinc.org/tours/. The Wednesday tours run 30-45 minutes and includes the farm's history, information on its employment training program and community outreach program. Participants will also see organic production practices firsthand.
