WICKER PARK — Fans eager to get a ballpark experience without heading to Pittsburgh on Wednesday can pop by the Chop Shop's rooftop patio, which will broadcast the Cubs vs. Pirates game on a big screen with full sound and sell hot dogs in a "game like experience," the restaurant announced Monday.

Located at 2033 W. North Ave., just west of Wicker Park's Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues intersection, Chop Shop plans to sell Vienna Beef ballpark hotdogs for $3 each from a cart along with offering beer tubs stocked with $3 bottles of New Belgium beer.

Representatives from New Belgium will be on hand, too, with their version of Plinko, the vertical sliding game popularized by the "Price is Right." Beer fans can win free gear and tickets to the brewery's upcoming holiday party.

The restaurant's full dinner and drink menu will be available at the rooftop event, which can seat about 70 people. The game begins at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday; early arrival to snag the best seating is encouraged. The weather is projected to be mild with increasing clouds, so pack a sweatshirt.
