CHICAGO — Police have responded to a call of a person in distress in Lake Michigan near Belmont Harbor, the department said late Monday.
Chicago Police's Marina Unit responded around 5:20 p.m. Monday to a call of a person in the water off the Belmont Harbor, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, Chicago Police spokesman.
Sweeney could not provide more details.
