NOBLE SQUARE — Meow, they're baaaaack.

Promising "remarkable feats of agility" and a performance by an all-cat rock band, a traveling troupe of talented felines are headed to Noble Square's Vittum Theater this weekend for six showings of "The Acro-Cats!"

Based in Chicago, trainer Samantha Martin's Amazing Acro-Cats have been touring the country and Europe for the last few years. This weekend will be the only chance for local folks to catch The Acro-Cats on home turf, based on the cats' busy 2015-16 tour schedule.

The Acro-Cats have been featured on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,"  "Animal Planet," "Wild Chicago," and more.

Under Martin's direction, the cats push carts, ride skateboards, roll barrels, ring bells, turn on lights, walk tight ropes and jump through hoops.

You can catch The Acro-Cats at 8 p.m. Thursday; 8 p.m. Friday; 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday; and 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday. The performances, about 60 minutes in length, will take place in the Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble St.

Tickets, $22 for adults and $20 for children and seniors, can be bought here.  A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Tree House Humane Society. Tickets for VIP seating in first and second rows have already sold out.
