LINCOLN SQUARE — Because wine lovers and beer lovers don't always mix, St. Matthias is hedging its bets and throwing festivals for both.

Friday's Friends of the Craft, 7-10 p.m., features more than a dozen area breweries, including the debut beer from the forthcoming Band of Bohemia. Attendees get unlimited beer tastings, with food available at an additional cost.

Sunday's Friends of the Grape, 12:30-6:30 p.m., puts the emphasis on wines paired with foods from local restaurants and also includes live and silent auctions. Attendees will enjoy unlimited eats and drinks.

Tickets to either event are $40 per person if purchased in advance or $50 at the door. A weekend pass, which gains admission to both events, is $75 per person. Buy tickets online or at the St. Matthias rectory, 2310 W. Ainslie Ave.

Both events will be held at St. Matthias School, 4910 N. Claremont Ave.
