MCKINLEY PARK — Mark your calendars: The annual senior and community health fair is coming back to the neighborhood.
Sponsored by the office of Ald. George Cardenas (12th), the 12th annual fair will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 16 at the McKinley Park Field House, 2210 W. Pershing Road.
That’s where seniors and residents can get free Flu shots, dental screenings, blood pressure screenings, prostate exams and diabetes exam. Health professionals will also provide information on cash assistance for seniors, Medical ID cards, senior ID bracelets, senior CTA passes and Medicare.
Breakfast will be served — but make sure to get in line early for free haircuts.
The Alderman’s office will provide rides to and from the fair upon request.
