BRIDGEPORT — The second annual African Fashion Week Chicago is coming back to the neighborhood.

Running from 7-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Victor Hall, 3636 S. Iron St., the event will feature internationally known African and African-inspired clothiers, including Akese Stylelines, Abayadake and Anzhelikacrochet.

“We live in a western society dominated by European and American designers yet the recent surge in African and African inspired prints,” organizers wrote in a news release, “yet styles, and designs has given fashionistas around the world a welcomed injection of high-end design, laced with vivacious culture.”
