MAGNIFICENT MILE — The Designer Closet, a pop-up shop offering vintage designer apparel and accessories returns to Michigan Avenue this weekend for its 3rd annual fundraiser.

Set for operating between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, The Designer Closet is located on the 2nd Floor of Michigan Avenue Shops, 900 N. Michigan Ave.

Racks of vintage designer apparel and accessories — including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Jimmy Choo and more — all donated by friends and supporters of The Founders' Board of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, will be for sale.

All proceeds from "The Designer Closet" will support the hospital, according to the event's Facebook page.

The popular sale started in September 2013 and was intended to pay homage to The White Elephant, a resale shop on Halsted that closed when Children’s Hospital moved from Lincoln Park to the Gold Coast, Social Life Chicago reports.
