UPTOWN — A favorite Uptown Thai spot on Argyle Street has seemingly closed its doors and will soon be replaced by another restaurant, signs suggest.

A note on King of Thai Noodles and Rice, at 1129 W. Argyle St., said they're "on vacation," but a sign on the facade suggests a new restaurant, Miss Saigon, is moving in.

Management for the restaurant could not be reached. It's unclear if there will be a change in ownership or management at the time.

Try to ease your sadness by remembering the good times with the King with these glowing Yelp reviews.
