HYDE PARK — Chicago Public Schools students should keep an eye out for two free tickets to the Museum of Science and Industry on their first day of school.

The museum, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive, is including two free tickets for the museum in every students’ welcome to school packet on Tuesday.

For the ninth year the museum is including the tickets for every student in kindergarten through high school in an effort to encourage students to start the school year off right.

The tickets provide free entry for two adults, children or seniors any day from through June 21 when school ends, during normal museum hours from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Additional tickets are still required for the “Robot Revolution” exhibition, the U-505 on-board tour, the coal mine and Omnimax films.
