NORTH LAWNDALE — A 16-year-old boy died and two others — a 14-year-old girl and a 42-year-old woman — were hurt in a shooting in North Lawndale late Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting occurred outside the same North Lawndale home that was registered to Donnel Morrison, a 17-year-old killed a block away in July.

Around 11:40 p.m., the group was sitting on a porch in the 1300 block of South Kostner Avenue when a white four-door sedan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

All three were taken to Stroger Hospital, where the boy was pronounced dead after being shot in his chest, Estrada said.

Marcus Weathers, of the same block, was pronounced dead at 1 a.m., acccording to Cook County Medical Examiner's office records.

The girl was shot in her back and the woman was shot in her right leg, Estrada said. Both were listed in stable condition.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
