GAGE PARK — A 30-year-old man was found shot to death on the Southwest Side Sunday night, police said.

Around 8:40 p.m., police found the man unconscious on the street in the 2400 block of West 58th Street with multiple gunshot wounds in his body, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as David Caston, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the man was a documented gang member, and they believe the shooting was gang-related.
