HUMBOLDT PARK — A construction worker was in good condition after a robber shot him in Humbolt Park Sunday night, police said.
Around 10 p.m., the man, 24, was working in the 4400 block of West Iowa Street when two men walked up, pulled out guns and demanded money, according to Officer Antoinetter Ursetti, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
One of the robbers then shot the man in his buttocks before the pair ran away, Ursetti said.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, Ursetti said.
