DUNNING — One small step for a man, one giant leap for the NASA Lady is set to take place at the Dunning branch of the Chicago Public Library.

Solar System ambassador Pam Greyer — also known as the NASA lady — is set to share her love of space and science with children age 6 to 11 at 1 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Dunning library, 7455 W. Cornelia Ave.

Greyer will display real lunar rock samples on loan from NASA and discuss Pluto, which has been in the spotlight thanks to new photos of everyone's favorite dwarf planet.

The event is part of Explore More! an extension of the library's summer reading program, officials said.
