CHINATOWN — The Chicago Philharmonic will soon play a free show at Ping Tom Park.

The famed orchestra has released the repertoire for a free performance Saturday at 300 W. 19th St. The "Night Out in the Parks" event is slated for 7 p.m.

Here's a look at the pieces on the Philharmonic's set list, conducted by Emanuele Andrizzi:

“The Star Spangled Banner” — Francis Scott Key

Overture to "The Barber of Seville" — Gioacchino Rossini

"Blue Tango” — Leroy Anderson

“Finlandia” — Jean Sibelius

Romanian Folk Dances — Béla Bartók

Carmen Suite — Georges Bizet

"Armed Forces Salute” — Bob Lowden

“The Stars and Stripes Forever” — John Philip Sousa

Students and local residents are welcome to bring their instruments and play along with Philharmonic musicians during rehearsals and the live performance.

Volunteer spaces are limited, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested musicians should register here and receive advanced access to sheet music.

Rehearsals begin at 4:30 p.m. the day of the performance.
