CHICAGO — See those helicopters hovering over your building? They're just doing training, the city says.

Military personnel are using the helicopters for a routine exercise that helps them "operate in urban environments overseas," according to the city's Office of Emergency Planning and Communications.

The training has been done before in Chicago. This year's exercise started Monday and it will end Saturday.

The city worked with other officials to choose training locations to minimize the exercise's impact, according to the city.
