UPTOWN — Clarendon Park Advisory Council is looking for volunteers to help water new trees at Clarendon Park.

The group, which does advocacy work for the Clarendon Park Field House, 4501 N. Clarendon Ave., and the park itself, arranged to get 10 new trees through Openlands, an organization dedicated to conservation.

Now they need some help making sure the trees continue to grow, according to group member Katharine Boyda.

Not only will volunteers contribute to the beautification of the park, but they'll also get the chance to admire the nearby blossoming Clarendon Park community garden, which is surrounded by wildflowers.

To become a volunteer, contact Michael Brown at 312-742-7512.
