WICKER PARK —    This weekend's Wicker Park Fest will bring an estimated 70,000 revelers to the area and result in street closures in the neighborhood's main hub.

"Don't Get Towed" warns the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce in an alert issued Tuesday to residents and business owners.

Several side streets off the Milwaukee Avenue-based festival will be closed beginning Friday at 8 a.m. through 5 a.m. Monday. Impacted streets include Milwaukee Avenue, between Paulina and North; Honore, between Milwaukee and Elk Grove; and parts of Wolcott, Wood, Beach, and Evergreen.

Presented by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, this year's fest will include a "mobile lounge" and bourbon bus. The official after party will be at Umami Burger, 1480 N. Milwaukee Ave.

There is a suggested $5 donation to enter the fest, which runs from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the 1300-1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue.  For more info, call 773-384-2672 or visit wickerparkfest. For updates "like" Wicker Park Fest on Facebook.
