CHICAGO — Supporters of presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders can learn about volunteering for the campaign at an upcoming event.
Supporters will be able to meet other Sanders fans from their neighborhood, volunteer for the campaign and share their stories and reasons for supporting Sanders.
Sanders is an independent from Vermont who is running for the Democratic nomination. He attended the University of Chicago, but has said he received more of an education off-campus in the city than he did in class.
The event is 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at the iO Theater, 1501 N. Kingsbury. More information about the event is available on Facebook.
