ROSCOE VILLAGE — When it's finished — some day maybe in 2017 — the Addison Underbridge Connector path will soar above the Chicago River, but its working name lands on the ear with a thud.

Before Chicago's Department of Transportation saddles the trail with a permanent, uninspiring moniker like the William Boldenweck Memorial Causeway (not that the man who oversaw the reversal of the Chicago River is undeserving), let's give this sucker a name that won't leave our grandkids scratching their heads.

We brainstormed a few options at DNAinfo Chicago headquarters. Some, like the Garfunkel ("Bridge Over Troubled Water," get it?), we immediately rejected. Others, like the C2C — Clark to California — we think have potential.
