HYDE PARK — The Blackstone Library is heading beyond the stratosphere for a space-themed game day on Saturday.

The library, 4904 S. Lake Park Ave., is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Hubble telescope, and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday will bring the theme to its game day.

Players ages 9 and older can choose between Star Trek Catan, Star Munchkin, Martians, the Captain is Dead and Merchants of Venus.

A dungeon master will also be on hand for those interested in Dungeons and Dragons.

The space events continue next week with a planetary preschool story time at 10:30 a.m. and space-themed origami lessons at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Families can play space games and build interstellar crafts during a big bang family fun hour at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

For a full list of events, visit the library’s website.
