WEST ENGLEWOOD — A free introductory yoga class for women is being offered on July 16.
The Sister Circle Women's Yoga group will meet at 6 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of the month at the I Grow Peace House, 6402 S. Honore. Doors open at 5 p.m. All ages are welcome and childcare is provided. Attendees are asked to wear loose and comfortable clothing.
The group was created to offer women in Englewood an environment where they can bond and experience the practice of Kundalini yoga, meditation and health and wellness together.
"By empowering women with knowledge, offering a variety of classes for every level of fitness, and providing a supportive and encouraging environment, we hope to touch the hearts of our fellow sisters, mothers, daughters and this most amazing community," the group posted on Facebook.
