Facebook/Four Star Brass Band
NORTH CENTER — It's Mardi Gras in July.
North Center's weekly summer concert series kicks off Wednesday with a rousing performance from New Orleans-style Four Star Brass Band.
The show gets under way at 7 p.m., 4100 N. Damen Ave.
The schedule for July:
July 15, Gussied — cover band with a bluegrass twist.
July 22, Wild Skies — new folk/americana band.
July 29, movie night, starts at dusk — "The Sandlot," coming-of-age baseball comedy.
Bands for August are too be announced: dates are Aug. 5, 12 and 19. All concerts start at 7 p.m.
