BBs Fired at Pace Bus on Eisenhower Expressway, Police Say

CHICAGO — One person was injured Wednesday after someone fired BBs at a bus on the Eisenhower Expressway, police said.

Around 11 p.m., someone using a BB gun fired shots at a Pace bus on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway just before the Independence Boulevard exit, Illinois State Police Sgt. Rodney Collins said.

One of the passengers suffered minor injuries from the shattered glass and was taken to an area hospital for treatment, Collins said.

Police are investigating the incident.
