CHICAGO — There will be a new attraction zooming around the skies of Chicago at the Air and Water Show next month.
The French-based Breitling Jet Team will make its Chicago debut at the 57th annual Chicago Air and Water Show in August, city officials said
The Breitling Jet Team will join show headliners the Navy's Blue Angels and the Army's Golden Knight parachute team for the free show presented by Shell and the City of Chicago during the Aug. 15-16 event.
The team will fly their L-39 C Albatros jets, which can reach speeds up to 565 mph.
The show will run along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, and spectators can snag a spot at North Avenue Beach, the show center.
