MCKINLEY PARK — An undisclosed company wants to open a medical marijuana dispensary at 3170 S. Ashland Ave., according to Ald. George Cardenas' office.

Cardenas (12th) is holding a public meeting from 6-8 p.m. Thursday night to discuss the proposal in the basement of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 3528 S. Hermitage Ave.

McKinley Park residents are encouraged share their comments and concerns about having a medical marijuana clinic in the neighborhood.
