CHICAGO — A 39-year-old man was stabbed in McKinley Park early Monday, police said.

Around 1:50 a.m., the man was walking in the 3400 block of South Western Avenue when he was approached by a group of men, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One of the men used a knife to stab the 39-year-old man twice in his abdomen. He was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition, Estrada sad.

No one is in custody for the stabbing.
