LINCOLN SQUARE — The hotly anticipated Ampersand Wine Bar is serving up a sneak sip of its vinos at Saturday night's "AmperBash."
Though owner Darren McGraw is still waiting on final approval from the city for Ampersand's official opening date, he's offering a preview of things to come, teaming with his fellow new business owners in the 4800 block of North Damen Ave. for a wine walk, 6-10 p.m.
For $25, ticketholders will enjoy two wine tastings each at Ampersand, 4845 N. Damen Ave., as well as Groundswell Cafe, One Key Yoga, District and Alapash. Food trucks dishing up cupcakes and Colombian fare will be on site with munchies for purchase.
