CHICAGO — Spike Lee shared photos of himself from the set of "Chiraq" Thursday.

The photos, taken in front of a series of murals, don't give much information about the film's plot, but at least one of them hints that it might be an homage to ancient Greece.

The film, with a controversial working title that has drawn the ire of some South Side aldermen, is rumored to be a modern take on the Greek play "Lysistrata," whose plot centers on women who would withhold sex in hopes of quashing gang wars.

One supporter of the film is the Rev. Michael Pfleger of Auburn Gresham's St. Sabina Church. A scene will be filmed at the church, 1210 W. 78th Place, Thursday. And yes, they're looking for extras.
