CHICAGO — A 35-year-old man has been charged with stabbing his 23-year-old roommate in Hermosa Sunday night, police said.
Azarkhad Batdorj, 35, of the 4000 block of West Palmer Street, was charged with aggravated domestic battery in the incident, police said.
Around 11:50 p.m., police saw a 23-year-old man stumbling around outside the apartment and holding his stomach. He told police he had been stabbed in the stomach with a kitchen knife by Batdorj, who was still inside the apartment, police said.
Batdorj was taken into custody and was expected to appear in bond court Tuesday.
The 23-year-old man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.
